Located 2 hours from Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains, its a beautiful arrive in this this town that is referred to as the “little Chamonix of Morocco”. Most hikes in the area start from this town specifically the Toubkal Climb which is the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m high.

Program : 9am pick up from your hotel or riad

Arrive at Imlil at 11am and you can begin a walk to one of the local Berber villages where you you can mingle with the locals. Enjoy lunch in one of the guest houses with majestic views of the mountains surrounding the village.

After lunch, walk back to Imlil though the walnut and apple terraces for the drive back to Marrakech where you will be returned to your accommodation.

Is it possible to bring luggage to the desert tour? How is it stored?

You can bring luggage to the group or private desert tours. It’s a good idea to have that luggage in the form of a backpack, as you can travel with it around, you can even take it on the camel as you reach the desert camp. Your remaining luggage will be in your Zagora vehicle or in Merzouga at the operator lodge.

Can I customize a tour?

Yes, you can do that, but you will have to work closely with our team to do that.

When can I book such a tour at the earliest?

You can feel free to do that as early as possible, especially for peak seasons like October, April and December. Check often and you can get some really impressive results.

Is it possible to attend the tour as a vegan or vegetarian?

Yes, the only issue will be with gluten free foods, as there aren’t a lot of them in Morocco, so you may have to bring in your own which is quite the challenge. Most of the meals will be halal meals only, but you can choose other options.
