Take in the verdant arc of Takerkoust Lake and explore the market town of Amizmiz; pause for a glass of mint tea then head off-piste to narrow valleys that shelter traditional Berber villages. Discover the mountain community of Imi n’Tala, walk to a nearby village for lunch in a local home, and wind along isolated tracks towards the rocky expanse of the Agafay Desert.
