Day 1

Set out from Marrakech into the Agafay Desert on a full-day trip through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Take in the verdant arc of Takerkoust Lake and explore the market town of Amizmiz; pause for a glass of mint tea then head off-piste to narrow valleys that shelter traditional Berber villages. Discover the mountain community of Imi n’Tala, walk to a nearby village for lunch in a local home, and wind along isolated tracks towards the rocky expanse of the Agafay Desert.
After watching the sunrise and having breakfast you will have a short drive to get back to Marrakech where.
you will get more time to yourself to enjoy the hassle of this beautiful city.

After getting some rest at the camp, head for an hour camel ride watching the sun going down.

Is it possible to bring luggage to the desert tour? How is it stored?

You can bring luggage to the group or private desert tours. It’s a good idea to have that luggage in the form of a backpack, as you can travel with it around, you can even take it on the camel as you reach the desert camp. Your remaining luggage will be in your Zagora vehicle or in Merzouga at the operator lodge.

Can I customize a tour?

Yes, you can do that, but you will have to work closely with our team to do that.

When can I book such a tour at the earliest?

You can feel free to do that as early as possible, especially for peak seasons like October, April and December. Check often and you can get some really impressive results.
